Spearmint Lip Balm
Lip balm. If you’re anything like me, you’re addicted to the stuff. Especially during those cold, dry winter months where all the moisture seems to leech from your body the second you step outside. If I don’t slather on some sort of healing lip salve when the weather takes a turn toward blustery, I end up with chapped, cracked lips faster than you can say, “I wish it was spring already.” During the warmer months, I use it nearly as often to protect my lips during long hours spent outdoors.
This balm has quickly become a favorite of the many lip-related beauty recipes I've conjured up. Made from beeswax, nourishing raw, organic shea butter, skin-loving organic jojoba oil, and a mood-elevating pop of organic, steam-distilled spearmint essential oil (which is easier on the skin than its more popular cousin, peppermint), this recipe is simple and effective.
Dab it onto your lips to keep them moisturized and protected through all seasons or purchase them as gifts for friends and family!
