Cedarwood & Lavender Insect Repellent
BIG HAIRY SPIDERS THAT JUMP OUT AT YOU FROM UNDERNEATH THE HERBS YOU'RE TRYING TO GATHER IN YOUR GARDEN.
*full-body shudder accompanied by a half-strangled F-bomb*
I can’t be the only person that develops Sudden-Onset Potty Mouth when surprised by creepy crawlies. Or engages in what must look like a slap fight with an invisible opponent to anyone who happens to look my way when a mosquito buzzes too close to me. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against most bugs. Especially the ones that my gardens benefit from having in them. Like spiders.
As long as those spiders don't charge me, they can live. But mosquitoes and ticks? Nope. Nope. Nope.
The only thing I like less than the high-pitched, buzzing sound of a mosquito circling my head or the sinking sensation that somewhere near me a tick is lurking is the thought of all the unpronounceable chemical names and toxic ingredients found in the sprays and candles designed to ward them off.
Thankfully, there's an alternative. This all-natural insect repellent contains:
- A base of distilled water.
- Double-distilled organic witch hazel extract (which, thanks to its low alcohol level, won't sting your skin or singe your nostrils).
- Organic vegetable glycerin (a natural humectant that will help to bind this spray to your skin and therefore prolong its effect).
- Organic cedarwood (Virginia) and lavender essential oils (which have been used for hundreds of years to ward off insects).
This repellent comes in two scents and three sizes each. Use the variation drop down menu to select your size and spritz it on when venturing forth into the great outdoors to ward off BIG HAIRY SPIDERS and other flying, crawling, hopping, slithering, scuttling insects.
Looking for something a little stronger? Try our other scent, Citronella & Eucalyptus.
