Beach Babe Salt Spray
Growing up on the shores of Cape Cod, my summer hair care routine consisted of going to the beach, immersing myself in ocean water, and letting the sun go to work on my tresses. The result was gorgeous, wavy locks that looked as good as they felt and smelled.
I would have done nearly anything to recreate that look year-round. Nearly being the key word there. As much as I love fresh-off-the-beach hair, there's only so much I'm willing to do to achieve the look, and jumping into frigid winter ocean water is not on that list.
I'm guessing you're not willing to go that far either.
Enter Beach Babe Salt Spray. This texturizing hair spray recipe is a beach trip in a bottle, containing a salt water base with an addition of nourishing ingredients that ensure this spray will give you those perfect beachy waves without drying out your tresses.
- Distilled water
- Epsom salt
- Pink Himalayan salt
- Organic argan oil
- Organic aloe vera gel
- Organic steam-distilled rosemary essential oil
To Use: shake the bottle for several seconds to combine any ingredients that may have separated. Apply to damp hair and use hands to scrunch up your strands. Everyone's hair is different, so how much you need will vary. I find less is better for short or thin hair, while more is required for long or thick strands.
