Eldridge Organics is named after my matriarchal line, which landed on Cape Cod with the Mayflower and never left. My earliest memories are filled with sun-drenched summer days digging in the earth beside my mother. Some days that earth was the rich, dark soil of her herb and flower gardens, other days it was the sand of Nauset Beach we raked through in search of clams and quahogs.
To this day, my mother is happiest when there's dirt beneath her fingernails, sunshine is spilling down from the summer sky, and the proof of her hard work is spread out around her in the forms of her bountiful vegetable gardens and riotously colorful flower beds.
I inherited these traits. Too long indoors and I start to go a little stir-crazy.
Eldridge Organics is my way of bottling up the outside and bringing it in. Of harnessing the healing powers of plants and formulating them into concentrated products designed to nourish the body.
I believe that nature is best when left to itself, so our raw ingredients come only from non-gmo, organic, fair trade, sustainable, and ethically wildcrafted sources. None of our products are ever tested on animals, only friends and family.
I take a minimalist approach to herbcrafting and packaging. Every ingredient I add has a purpose, a role to play in the finished product. You'll find no unpronounceable chemical compounds or unnecessary additives in Eldridge Organics. Not only is our packaging recyclable (and often made from post-consumer recycled materials), but our labels are compostable, which means that you can feel good about what's inside AND outside your products.
